Dieter Rams is one of most influential industrial designers of the late 20th century. His work is defined by elegance, simplicity and rigourous detail. His influence is evident amongst many designer's such as Jonathan Ive (Apple) or virtually any other designer who subscribes to the "Less and More" ethos.
As one of my favourite [industrial] Designers, Dieter Ram's principles of good design have be come common place for what I believe is the "right" approach. In fact, Rams' ten principles of good design have shape and inspired the design community for over 40 years.
